Hello peanut butter lovers. A delicious peanut butter sponge with a sticky topping . Make this sponge with very easy recipe, perfect for everyday baking. The best peanut cake ever.
- 3 eggs,
- 2 tbsp peanut butter,
- 3 tbsp maple syrup,
- 1 sachet custard powder (I used original flavour ),
- Vanilla flavouring (a few drops).
- 1 tbsp coconut oil,
- 1 tbsp peanut butter,
- 15 dates(soak the dates I hot water in 15 min then drain the water).
Preheat the oven to 180. Separate the eggs whites from the yolks. Combine yolk, custard powder, maple syrup, vanilla drops and peanut butter. Mix until well combined . ß Beat the egg whites until foams formed. Lightly fold in the bitten egg whites into the sponge mixture. Pour into lined cake mould (I used 22 cm). Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 min. Remove the cake from the mould after is completely cools down. For topping melt coconut oil and mix with drained dates and peanut butter. Using hand blender ,blend until is creamy. Decorate the top of your sponge .
